Located in portion of BahÍa San QuintÍn known locally as BahÍa San Simon--this is the extreme eastern portion of BahÍa San QuintÍn area. Loc. at N. end of a point upon which a tourist camp is being constructed & immediately S of a prominent point jutting into BahÍa San Simon. Fossiliferous sediments in this region capped by 8-10 feet of apparently nonmarine, fine-grained sandstone & siltstone, all units flat-lying.
